1. Who operates Found

Found is operated by Brittle Studio (“Found”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). For privacy questions, requests, or concerns, email studiobrittle@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive identifiers needed to create and authenticate your account, such as your Google account ID, name, and email address. We do not receive your Google password.

Profile and preference information

This may include your name, date of birth and age, gender, biography, location, height, education, school or college, occupation, company, income choice, lifestyle details, languages, interests, religion, community or caste, partner preferences, and profile photos. Optional fields may be left undisclosed.

Connections and communications

We process connection requests, acceptances, declines, matches, chat messages, unread status, reports, hidden and blocked profiles, and notification history so these features work as expected.

Device and service information

We may process push-notification tokens, app version, device and operating-system information, sign-in and activity timestamps, analytics events, diagnostics, and crash reports. This helps us secure, maintain, and improve Found.

3. How we use information

• Authenticate your account and retain your session.
• Create, display, edit, and share your matrimony profile.
• Apply your discovery filters and show potentially relevant profiles.
• Operate connection requests, matches, chats, and notifications.
• Respect hide and block choices and prevent blocked interactions.
• Investigate reports, prevent misuse, and protect members.
• Diagnose crashes, measure feature use, and improve reliability.
• Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Who can see your information

Profile information and photos you publish may be visible to signed-in members through discovery, matches, profile links, and profile sharing. People you mutually connect with can chat with you. Your email address, authentication identifiers, private preferences, blocked list, reports, and technical records are not presented as public profile fields.

Do not add sensitive contact, financial, identity-document, or other confidential information to your biography, photos, or chats unless you are comfortable sharing it with the recipient.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We use trusted providers to operate Found, including Google Sign-In and Firebase services for authentication, databases, file storage, hosting, remote configuration, analytics, crash reporting, cloud functions, and messaging. These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect people from harm, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a business reorganisation where appropriate safeguards apply. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, satisfy legal requirements, and maintain security. Notification history is limited in the app, and you can clear it. Some backup, security, or legal records may remain for a limited period after deletion.

You can request account deletion from our account deletion page or contact us. After verifying the request, we will delete or de-identify associated information unless retention is legally required.

7. Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile and preferences, choose “Prefer not to say” for optional details, manage photos, hide or block profiles, clear notifications, control device notification permission, log out, and request deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may also ask to access, correct, erase, or obtain information about our processing of your personal data.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect information. No app, network, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your Google account and device protected, use care when sharing information, and report suspicious behaviour promptly.

9. Adults only and child safety

Found is only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit minors to create profiles. If you believe a minor is using Found or encounter child sexual abuse or exploitation material, report it immediately. Read our Child Safety Standards.

10. International processing and policy changes

Our service providers may process information in locations outside your state or country. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards are used. We may update this policy as Found changes. The updated date will appear above, and significant changes may also be communicated in the app or on this website.
