THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN US
Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of Found. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Last updated: 10 August 20261. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into this agreement, and legally permitted to use a matrimony service. You must not use Found if we previously removed or banned your account, unless we expressly allow you to return.
2. Your account and profile
You agree to provide information that is accurate and not misleading, use your own identity and photos, maintain control of your Google account and device, and promptly update material profile changes. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Found is currently offered free of charge. We will clearly explain and obtain any required agreement before introducing a paid feature.
3. Respectful and lawful use
You must respect other members’ choices, boundaries, privacy, and consent. You must not:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, shame, discriminate against, or exploit anyone.
- Impersonate another person or create a deceptive, fraudulent, or spam profile.
- Request money, run scams, promote commercial services, or collect member data.
- Post nudity, sexual exploitation material, hateful content, violence, or illegal content.
- Share another person’s private information or images without permission.
- Contact someone after they decline, block, or ask you to stop.
- Use automated tools, scrape the service, bypass safeguards, or disrupt Found.
- Use Found for trafficking, solicitation, child exploitation, or any unlawful purpose.
4. Connections, chats, and safety
A profile, connection, match percentage, common interest, acceptance, or message is not an endorsement, identity verification, background check, compatibility guarantee, or promise of a relationship. Members control their own statements and conduct.
Use independent judgment. Do not send money or sensitive documents. Take time before sharing contact details, verify information independently, meet in a public place, tell someone you trust, and arrange your own transport. Use Report, Hide, or Block when something feels wrong. Contact local emergency services when there is immediate danger.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Found a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, display, resize, and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service’s functionality. This licence ends when the content and related backups are deleted, except where retention is legally required or content has been lawfully shared with others.
You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions for anything you upload or send.
6. Moderation and enforcement
We may review reports and relevant account information, restrict features, remove content, hide profiles, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence, or contact appropriate authorities when we reasonably believe it is necessary for safety, legal compliance, or enforcement. We are not required to monitor every profile or conversation and cannot guarantee that all misuse will be detected.
7. Intellectual property
Found’s software, branding, interface, graphics, and other service materials are owned by Brittle Studio or its licensors. These terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the app as intended. They do not permit copying, reverse engineering, resale, or unauthorised commercial use.
8. Service availability and changes
We may change, test, suspend, or discontinue features and may perform maintenance without notice. We aim to keep Found reliable but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service. Features may differ by device, location, or app version.
9. Account closure
You may stop using Found and request deletion through the account deletion page. We may suspend or end access for violations, safety risks, legal requirements, prolonged inactivity, or service closure. Provisions that logically survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and responsibility for prior conduct—continue to apply.
10. Disclaimers and responsibility
Found is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the identity, intentions, statements, conduct, suitability, or compatibility of any member or the outcome of any interaction. You remain responsible for your communications, meetings, decisions, and compliance with law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Brittle Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from the service or member conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Governing terms and updates
These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. We may update these terms as the service or law changes. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised terms; where required, we will request renewed consent.
